PriyadarshanÂs, Prakash Raj-starrer ÂKanchivaram won the National Award this year and now the director is back to business in Bollywood. We earlier had it that Priyan is making a film titled ÂKhatta-Meetha in which our Trisha is pairing with action star Akshay Kumar.
When asked about the story of ÂKhatta-MeethaÂ, sources close to the film said that, it is a script based on a real life incident. The gruesome murder of an engineer named Yogendra Pandey in Bihar, that happened some years ago, which is alleged to have been conspired by a municipal contractor is the skeleton of ÂKhatta-MeethaÂ.
On the other hade we hear stories that itÂs a remake of a popular Malayalam film ÂVellanakalude Nadu which hit the screens in 1990. Mohanlal and Shobana played the lead roles in the film.
Priyan who launched Trisha here is launching her in Hindi too. If in ÂKhatta-Meetha becomes a BO hit, nothing can stop the actress.
