It is known for a fact that the Kollywood block buster, 'Chennai 600028', which instantly shot Venkat Prabhu to fame, is being remade for the Bollywood audience in Hindi.

The film is tentatively titled 'Kirkit' and is to go on the floors shortly. 'Kirkit' is directed by Yazad, as his debut venture, from being an associate to Bejoy Nambiar of 'David' fame, who is also co producing the B-town project. Now we hear that Siddhant Kapoor, son of Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor, has been roped in to play the role that Shiva did in the Tamil version, while the other lead role, of Jai's, is to be essayed by Sandalwood actor Diganth. Capturing the thrills of cricket, 'Kirkit' is all set to woo the audience, just 'Chennai 600028' did.
