Come Friday, three films belonging to different genres will slug it out at the Box Office. (Poola Rangadu will be releasing a day later than (Feb. 18) Nippu and Love Failure, which are slated to release on Feb. 17).

It will be a tough fight between the three stars. It will be difficult to favour one film over another as the favourite, for the simple reason because they belong to different genres. Coming as it does from the firebrand star Ravi Teja, in the combination of Gunasekhar and YVS, Nippu comes across as a film with significant action scenes. Since Deeksha Seth has a meaty role, one presumes that the film has a long angle as well. It is to be seen if Nippu has a message to tell. With YVS saying that the film will not be like a typical Guna film, one can reasonably guess that the film will be a YVS-meets-RT caper, tempered with the director’s tasteful touch.

Love Failure comes with a very persuasive title. But what if it turns out that the boy's love remains eternally one-sided? Will, then, the Telugu audience lap it up? Whatever, this Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual is for those who are in love and also for those who want to fall in love, says Siddharth. Defeat in love is victory, he adds. If one goes by these statements, we are in for a novel film. The biggest strength of the film seems to be its story. Watch this space.

Poola Rangadu is finally hitting the screens. The film is touted as a comic caper, with Sunil trying something very adventurous. (Six-pack abs; who doesn't know this by now?) The big theatrical release is its greatest advantage, while the film’s success, whether confessed by anyone or not, will vastly depend on how different Sunil is presented here. He will have to be very different from what he has always been.

With Ravi Teja, Siddharth and Sunil trying to entertain us as action hero, romantic hero and comedy hero, respectively, let's wait and watch who will emerge the clear winner.
