Why Jyothika didn't do it?

Jyothika wanted to dub for herself in '36 Vayadhinile' and tested her voice many times. "But, despite our best efforts, we found certain bit of alien-ness in my Tamil. So we opted for a dubbing artist," she says.

Pointing out that she played a middle-class woman who has a certain style of speaking, Jyothika adds: "We didn't want to distract the audience with my Tamil, which is still not that perfect."

Happy about the response to '36 Vayadhinile', Jyothika says, "I am so excited that audience love me a lot and they liked the film very much. Thanks to my director Roshan Andrews, Suriya and other members of the team."
