Vimal's forthcoming film with his 'Kalavani' pair 'Oviya', which was initially titled 'Silu Silunu Oru Sandhippu', has now been renamed as 'Sillunu Oru Sandhippu'. Director Ravi Lallin explains here the reason behind the decision.

"Many well-wishers and friends felt that the title Silu Silunu Oru Sandhippu was difficult to pronounce. So we rechristened the movie as Sillunu Oru Sandhippu, which we thought was catchy and easy," says the filmmaker.

When asked whether the story has got any similarities with Suriya's 'Sillunu Oru Kadhal', since the title sounds similar, Ravi Lallin replies: "Certainly not. This is totally a different story which is to be told in a novel way."

He justifies it further: "The titles Engaeyum Eppothum (Jai-Anjali starrer) and Engeyum Kadhal ('Jayam' Ravi - Hansika Motwani) sound similar. But the content was different. So will be my film." 'Sillunu Oru Sandhippu' is taking shape fast in and around Chennai. The last schedule is planned in Ooty.
