As reported earlier, director Bhagyaraj is making his comeback with 'Thunai Mudhalvar', with himself in the lead. The heroine of this script is Shweta Menon who is not only known for her acting but also has the dubious distinction of fame from controversies.
One such recent incident issue was when she filed a complaint against Congress MP Peethambar Kurup for misbehaviour at the Kollam Boat Festival. The actress however withdrew her complaint after the MP having apologized to her personally. 'Thunai Mudhalvar' being a racy and spicy political movie, it required someone with daring courage to essay the role of heroine. Further, given her fame of late out of such controversies, sources close to the actor-director say that Bhagyaraj felt that Shweta will be the apt choice for this film.
