Until 'Baahubali' released, Rs.100 crores mark was considered elusive for Telugu movies. But the Rajamouli directorial and 'Srimanthudu' proved that it is not a big deal for a Telugu movie to collect 100 crores, if there is good content and if the movie is promoted well.

Many of our Telugu star actors don't bother to promote their films aggressively before the release. But 'Baahubali' and 'Srimanthudu' proved that even if you are a star actor, you have to promote your film strategically and well-planned promotions can do wonders. Hope our star actors will take a cue from Rajamouli, Prabhas and Mahesh Babu regarding the promotions.
