Film Nagar Cultural Centre (FNCC) presented the film awards for the year 2008, on 31st December in their office premises. Cultural programs were organized to entertain the invitees and also to welcome the New Year 2009.
Raghupathi Venkaiah awardees D Rama Naidu & MS Reddy were felicitated on this occasion, followed by the presentation of Telugu Cinema awards for 2008 on the same stage.
The awards were given out based on 12 categories which are listed out below:

| Best Cinematographer | Sudhakar Reddy (Anasuya) |
| Best Family Entertainer | Mee Sreyobhilashi |
DVS Raju, KS Rama Rao, Kaja Suryanarayana, Dr KL Naryana, Dr K Venkateswara Rao, G. Adiseshagiri Rao, D Suresh Babu, Ramesh Prasad, Yedidha Sriram and others prominent people from Telugu industry were present in the occasion.
