Skipper Mithali Raj is being flooded with wishes for becoming the leading run scorer in Women`s ODI since she scored 34 runs on Wednesday`s match against Australia in Bristol.

Mithali is the one upside of the match that India lost to Australia in this round of the ICC Women`s World Cup.

The cricketing star has beaten the record set by Charlotte Edwards of England, reaching 6,000 runs in one day cricket history.

Wishes have been pouring in from all quarters, including Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble.

Team India will now have to face New Zealand on Sunday to reach the semi-final.
