With the first look poster release of Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' it has been officially confirmed that the grand sequel to the blockbuster 'Enthiran' will be released 3D format.

In the exclusive interview to Red Carpet IndiaGlitz, Raju Mahalingam, the Creative Head of Lyca Productions bankrolling this mammoth project says this is the first Indian film to be entirely shot in 3D.. "2'.0' has been entirely shot with 3D camera." In other words '2.0' directed by the master of magnum opuses Shankar has been Created in 3D and not converted to the format after being shot in regular format.

In the past may Hollywood films and quite a few Indian films including Tamil films have released in 3D format. But only a select few movie halls across the country are equipped to scree films in their 3D version. However for '2.' it will not be the case as Lyca has been chalking out huge plans to support all the theatres to adopt to the 3D technology.

"End of the day we are going to watch the film in theatres. The quality of film viewing experience we get in cosmopolitan cities like Mumbai, Chennai and Coimbatore, we wanted the same to happen in second tier and third tiers cities towns. We are planning to pull in all the theatre owners, have a sort of conference organised in each and every state throughout India and get in the 3D equipment suppliers to help them. The suppliers and theatre owners can have mutual discussions and negotiations. We are providing that platform. We want to make more and more theatres come into the 3D segment. End of the day people each and every place will get to enjoy Rajini sir so close to their eyes. "

The confident young professional also gave a sneak peak of how the 3D experience of the film is going to be:

"I took my ten year old son to the shooting spot. After shooting we can watch the output with a 3D glass. While watching the portion he tried to catch Rajini sir. Even though he know it is not real. Such a high-fi technology has been used. I am sure all the kids through out the world will enjoy."

The title is certainly not a exaggeration. Agree?
