On Sunday morning, a woman threw both of her children out of an under-construction building while also killing herself.

Shirin Khan, a 27 year old homemaker, went to a building that was still under construction in Thane, Maharashtra, in the disguise of seeing a sample flat that she was looking to buy. Shirin, thew her 7 year old son Taufik out of the building first, after which she threw her daughter, Amrin (4), while jumping along with her.

Shirin and her 4 year old daughter died on spot, while the little boy is fighting for life at the JJ Hospital. Shirin's husband, an air-conditioning technician, seems to have been asleep at his house during the incident. Police are investigating the reason behind the woman's extreme step.
