The cinematographer Ravi K Chandran is making a directorial venture with his "Yaan" which is produced by RS Infotainment. This move has been much spoken about up since it's first schedule shoot announcement.

Jiiva and Thulasi Nair are the lead pair of this film and sources say that this film has completed two schedules smoothy in Karjat and Hyderabad. The director himself also said, “This pair has got an electrifying screen presence." "Yaan" team is leaving for Mumbai on the 26th of January to begin a 40 day schedule of shoot which will make the film reach a completion of 70%. After that, the team is to fly off to Morocco for another 30 days of shoot which include some songs and the final works on the film.
