Yaariyan
Divya Khosla Kumar, wife of T-Series head honcho, Bhushan Kumar, who debuted as an actress with `Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo', now marks her debut as a director in `Yaariyan'.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under T-Series Super Cassettes Industries Ltd, `Yaariyan' features fresh cast including Himansh Kohli, Rakul Preet, Dev Sharma, Nicole Faria and Shreyas Pardiwala. The music, which have received big thumbs up from young generation, is done Pritam, Honey Singh, Mithoon and Arko Pravo Mukherje. Incidentally, to ensure she gives the best to this film, Divya has sat for all the music sittings with her husband - producer Bhushan who has personally looked into the soundtrack.
`Yaariyan' is a contemporary young film that takes audiences through the trials and tribulations of the best years of their life. Set in a boarding school of Sikkim, the film is a story of close knit 5 friends who are exploring the best moments of their lives in college, experiencing different relationships and learning new values every day. Yaariyan is about different characters, their bonding, their friendship, their problems, their fun, their mistakes, their relations. It is about their yaariyan during good and bad, thick and thin. Yaariyan is about all your first - first love, first challenge, first outbursts, first strong bonds of friendships.
`Yaariyan' hits the screens on 10th January 2014.
