Sad and dejected by Katrina, Salman, Deepika and Ranbir of Bollywood for their lack of commitment our dear cupid packed all his arrows and started his own flight towards heaven... suddenly on his way he saw a big hording of `Yaariyan' seeing those teeny boppers happy and glee the cupid couldn,t stop himself by taking a round of the posters. While doing so a `Ray' of hope started twinkling in his eyes as he read the name of Divya Khosla Kumar as director and Bhushan Kumar as the producer. A flash back of the great Bollywood fairytale love story between Bhushan and Divya passed by.. happy to find the `passion' of Divya and `commitment' of Bhushan had taken shape in `Yarriyan' dear cupid decided to watch the movie before saying good bye to Bollywood.

Fortunately for Bollywood and unfortunately for the Kumar's the cupid found himself sitting next to a movie critic. Here are the experts from their conversation personally handed over by the cupid to me in the interest of the country and bollywood in general.

(Bhushan and Divya's lovely little says pack up and the end credits roll)

Cupid (with tears of joy in his eyes): how cute and loving so nice.

Movie Critic: wait a second. What you said cute.. loving..nice. what so cute loving and nice.

Cupid: Man. Why are you so angry? Don,t you feel the love baby, are you insane can,t you see the passion the execution.

Movie Critic: what passion execution its waste of money time and energy.

Cupid: You are so rude. I mean see listen patiently. Its Divya Kumar's first film as a director so please don,t expect 3 Idiots, Lagaan, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander, Student Of The Year, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai here although you may find influence and it's good to be inspired by some good cinema for a start.

Movie Critic: Yup

Cupid: Your favorite VB is so influenced by Shakespehere but you never complained and when a newcomer gets influenced by those films which you also have given a thumps up you people start questioning the creativity and originality..

Movie Critic: We are not against inspiration the only think is it should be convincing, satisfying giving your money's worth.

Cupid: My dear you are not getting my point. For a while just skip the content and look at the intent. Divya has tried to convey the message love, friendship and commitment to the youth. Its targeted towards the youngistan of India. Look at the picturesque locals of Sikkim and Australia. The newbie's Himansh Kohli Rakul Preet, Nicole Faria, Dev Sharma, Shreyas Pardiwalla, Serah Singh and Vikas Verma are cute and loving. Evelyn Sharma is so eye candy. The seniors Gulshan Grover, Deepti Naval and Smita Jaykar give such a good support. It's also a coming of age romancer with infuses the fighting spirit. You must have noticed the pulse raising mountain climbing and the cycle race. The music is good if I play 'Sunny Sunny' and 'ABCD' from the films track won,t you dance like a dancing queen only 17. Tell me.

Movie Critic: Your innocence is highly admirable my friend. Yes it is supposed to be targeted to the youth but falls flat. The bonding is naive. There are no sweet emotional moments to connect. The maker has failed to follow the genre and is confused. She starts the film with teen comedy flavor does those derogatory Bharat Mata sequence only for a Kiss. Suddenly goes serious touches the racial issue then leaves makes caricatures instead of characters tries to be romantic but fails. It's a never ending boring high school musical which never ends. Yes the music is good but only if you hear don,t see it on screen it just added for the sake of it. Yeah the kids are good. The look is good no doubt but the narration is incoherent and boring to the hilt.

Cupid: you are missing one big point here

Movie Critic: Oh really is that so. Would love to know. Tell me please.

Cupid: Love.. Now you get it.

Movie Critic: What

Cupid : Yaariyan is a an example of undying love for cinema and undying love for someone you love.

Movie Critic: Crazy. How absurd. Explain

Cupid: Bhushan Kumar can produce 5 Yaariyah in a year with the top most actors and best directors but he allowed the love of his life to explore her passion without any compromise look at the locales. That is love for someone you love and the love for cinema.

Movie Critic: in that sense Farah Khan and Sirish Kunder are the biggest Laila Manjnu's of Bollywood `Tees Maar Khan'.

Cupid: Ahh at last we see the triumph of love. (smiles) now what you have to say.

Movie Critic: Make love not movies and if you do then please show it to someone who understands cinema before going public.

Cupid: What sort of cynicism is this? How disgusting. Who the hell are you. Are you human.

Movie Critic: No. Am a movie critic.

Cupid: even worse.

Movie Critic: who are you my friend?

Cupid : I am a cupid in disguise. Was about to leave bollywood but seeing this passion and commitment had made me stay. Thank you Bhushan and Divya.

Movie Critic: Whatever..
