Actor-music composer Vijay Antony has teamed up again with Jeeva Shankar the director and cinematographer of the 2012 thriller flick 'Naan' which launched him as a hero. This film has been titled as 'Yaman' and touted to be a action thriller.
'Yaman' stars Vijay Antony and Miya George in lead roles. Veteran actor Thiyagarajan is acting as the lead villain in this film.
Vijay Antony is as usual doubling up as the music director of the film while Jeeva Shankar has taking care of cinematography as well as direction. Veera Senthil Raja is editing the film.
The film went on floors in December 2015 and now it is ready to hit the screens on February 24, 2017. The film has acquired a clean U certificate.
The film is touted to be a political entertainer. Speaking about the film in his interview to IndiaGlitz, Jeeva Shankar said "Its a pure entertainer. The film will entertain you completely from first frame to last frame. At the same time it will be a film that will instigate you to think. Audience with political consciousness will agree this film. Even those who don't have interest or knowledge will reach the basic level of understanding about politics through this film."
The film was initially launched by Vijay Antony's production house and now it has been acquired by the Lyca Productions.
