Yash Raj gets its first woman director Nupur in Sonam, Ayushman starrer

Nupur Ashtana will be the first woman director for India’s premier production banner Yash Raj films.

Aditya Chopra has roped Nupur for its Sonam Ayushman starrer.. Nupur directed Yash Raj’s youth wing Y films Mujhse Fraandship Karoge that hit the theatres in 2011.

A source close to the film told us,"The film will be a slice-of-life and will go on floors in mid-February next year. The makers are planning for a September/October release for the project."

We also found out that the film will be based in Delhi. Interestingly both Ayushmann and Sonam have spent a part of their childhood in the national capital. The story has been penned by Habib Faisal.
