Starting off from a paltry role in ‘Dhuniya’ Yogish riding high today with super hit of ‘Nanda Nanditha’ in the last year and moderate hit of ‘Ambari’ in this year. He is considered as Tamil film Dhanush of Kannada cinema not because he is taking up a series of Dhanush films for remake in Kannada but because of the raw roles he perform.

Yogish son of top producer T.P. Siddaraju of ‘Dhuniya’ fame is now in ‘Ravana’ that is a remake of ‘Kadhal Kondein’ and taken up ‘Punda’ for producer Kuppuswamy that is again a remake of Tamil film ‘Polladhavan’. Yogish is very busy for the coming three years as his films like ‘Yogi’, ‘Preethse Preethse’ is lined up for release and working on ‘Padde Huduga’ for producer Ashwini Ramprasad.

Just around 20 years of age Yogish has learnt the trick of the trade in cinema business. He knows how to delve in the roles that would be liked by the masses. All his roles are related to the poor class and ‘Preethse Preethse’ is an exception to it he says. To be a slum boy for ‘Nanda Nanditha’ he moved with 30 plus slum boys to get to the skin of the role. In ‘Ambari’ he plays a cobbler and took training as cobbler to bring in natural flavor to the role. He plays the double edge role in ‘Ravana’.

What is surprising about Yogish is that he does not know what remuneration he gets. ‘I take only Rs.1000 as conveyance after the shoot is over’. The monetary aspect is looked after by my parents says Yogish.
