Suriya gets rid of 'slap' controversy

Chennai based youngster Prem Kumar has withdrawn the police complaint, he had registered against actor Suriya.

On Monday, Premkumar had approached the Sasthri Nagar police station, Chennai, alleging that Suriya slapped him during a road altercation in Adyar. Suriya's spokesperson had denied the charge that the actor slapped the youngster.

Now as a sudden twist, Prem seems to have voluntarily withdrawn his complaint against Suriya.

This comes as a big relief to the actor who has always maintained dignity in public life and also to his fans and the entire film fraternity.
