Bill Gates loses his place as the world's richest man

For many a year Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has held on to his position as the world`s richest man with his current net worth standing at 84.8 billion USD. He has lost his pedestal for the second time to Amancio Ortega the Spanish clothing brand Zara`s co-founder who has just clocked 85 billion in net worth.

Ortega had already surpassed Gates earlier in 2015 but could only enjoy the glory for a day and it is unknown how the seesaw will tilt this time as he is only slightly ahead of the information technology giant.
