Jayam Ravi-starrer Miruthan, touted as Tamil cinema's first zombie thriller, will be dubbed into Telugu and released on Feb 12. Thus, it will be a simultaneous release in both Tamil and Telugu.

The dubbing rights have been acquired by Lakshmi Prasanna Films. The trailer has been a rave, thanks to the technical values and the genre. Ravi is seen in a fiery, intense role in unconventional film. Elements of sci-fi are there.

Lakshmi Menon is the heroine. Kaali Venkat, Dharma, and others are seen in important roles. Music is by D Immam.

The film's director Shakti Soundar Rajan may not be known to the Telugu audience, but he has carved a niche for himself in Tamil.
