Veteran actor Vijayakanth will be making a grand comeback to films, playing the lead role in the period fantasy flick 'Tamizhan Endru Sol' which will be directed by debutante Arun Ponnambalam. The film features Vijayakanth's son Shanmugapandian in another lead role.

Now sources reveal that Zoya Afroz, who has acted in Bollywood films like 'Kuch Na Kaho' and ' The Xpose' will be cast as the love interest of Shanmuga Pandian in this film. We can expect an official confirmation regarding this very soon.

Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi has been roped in to score music for this mega budget film that will stress the greatness of Tamil language.

'Tamizhan Endru Sol' was launched with a formal Pooja on Sunday last and the shooting is expected to begin soon.
