₹20 Crore War Canvas: Sai Durgha Tej’s SYG Shoots Epic 35-Day Battlefield Climax

Sai Durgha Tej is stepping into uncharted territory with his upcoming Pan-India action epic SYG (Sambarala Yetigattu), a film that is steadily building anticipation for its sheer ambition and scale. Directed by debutant Rohith KP and produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, the project is being mounted as a full-fledged Pan-India spectacle.
The production house, known for backing the blockbuster HanuMan, appears determined to raise the bar yet again. Earlier, the “Asura Aagamana” glimpse, unveiled on Sai Durgha Tej’s birthday, sparked significant buzz for its intense visuals and mythic undertones.
A Climax on a Monumental Scale
Currently, the team is filming what is being described as the film’s most ambitious stretch — a battlefield-like climax sequence. In a bold production decision, the makers have earmarked more than ₹20 crore solely for the climax.
The sequence is being shot over an extensive 35-day schedule and comprises 18 large-scale action blocks. Renowned stunt choreographer Kevin Master is overseeing the action design, promising intricately staged combat sequences with high-impact visual execution.
Sources indicate that the climax draws thematic inspiration from the grandeur and emotional intensity of the Kurukshetra war from the Mahabharata, aiming to deliver a raw, immersive cinematic experience rather than a conventional action finale.
Sai Durgha Tej’s Most Demanding Role Yet
For SYG, Sai Durgha Tej has undergone a striking physical transformation. The actor is said to be performing several high-risk stunts on his own, particularly during the climax schedule. Industry observers suggest this could be one of the most physically and emotionally demanding performances of his career.
