Divya S Iyer, an IAS officer and practising doctor, is making her big screen debut in the upcoming movie 'Eliyammachiyude Adyathe Christmas' directed by Benny Ashamsa. In the movie, Divya plays the role of a nun who runs an old age home.

Divya, who is also the presiding officer of the Senior Citizen Tribunal agreed to act in the movie as it deals with the life of senior citizens. The young collecter is co-starring along the veteran actress KPAC Lalitha. Apparently, Divya hasn’t taken any remuneration for it. Produced by Haridas Hyderabad and Anvitha Hari under the banner of Himuchuri Release, the movie will hit theatres on December 1.
