The speculation surrounding Rajinikanth’s attendance to Narendra Modi's swearing in ceremony was quite a debacle as the invitation has been sent to Srilankan Prime Minister Rajapakse as well.

Its quite a known fact that even before the election, Narendra Modi visited superstar and the friendship these two would have prompted Rajini to give his presence, however the actor did not want to hurt the sentiments of Tamils who are quite agitated at the invitation to Sri Lankan premiere.

There is a good chance that Latha Rajinikanth will be attending the ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan which is already going to be a celebrity fiesta with the likes of Amitabh, Salman and other prominent stars being invited as well.
