Producer of the award-winning film Aptha Mithra may not have made his presence felt at the one-year celebration of the film that was organized by lead star Vishnuvardhan. But he has comeback into the limelight with the book on the making of Apthamitra.

During his event, Dwarkesh who has been Vishnuvardhan's close friend and associate for a long time, spoke extensively about their fall out and the misery he has faced after the end of his special friendship. "I cannot celebrate the success of the film without the presence of Vishnuvardhan. I have called him for the event and I hope he makes time to come. I have been trying to meet him for a long time and there have been times when I have been asked to go back at the gate of his house itself.

I am sure this is a case of a major misunderstanding. There have been no issues related to his payment too, because I have paid him in full for the remuneration he had demanded for the film. In fact, after paying him it took me some time before I could pay back the other cast and crew members," says the actor-turned-producer. Vishnuvardhan, of course, did not land up at his release.
