The legendary actor of Kannada cinema Dr.Vishnuvardhana was suffering from fever on Thursday. That is the reason why he could not turn up for his own film 'Ekadanta' that went on the floors at Kanteerava Studios on Thursday morning. Sachin the Hindi and Marathi film and television actor, director addressed the media after the muhurut that was attended by Ramesh Aravind and actress Prema.

'Ekadanta' is about my Marathi novel 'Sale Nagade' – meaning 'Chalo Na Dear'. When the novel was printed in 1982 it was not received well. The same subject has interested Dr.Vishnu in one of my meetings with him in Mumbai. That's why I am here today in Bangalore directing a Kannada film says the handsome looking Sachin. The whole subject is about theist and atheist. Although the novel is more than 23 years old it still holds good. The shooting will be held in Bangalore and Mysore in about 40 days.

I am influenced by P.Deshpande in my life disclosed Sachin. For his debut Kannada film direction M.S.Narasimha Murthy and Richard Louis known for hilarious and rib tickling are writing the dialogues.

Present on the occasion Ramesh Aravind said it is nice to work with a director cum actor like Sachin. The workshop he conducts before the take off of the real shooting will be interesting. I am like an obedient student to the director said Ramesh for question.

I did not know who this Sachin is at the initial stage – said Prema. She agreed with Ramesh Aravind on the concept of workshop for the film to get to know in detail.
