Ambarish withdraws his resignation

Senior actor Ambarish who resigned from the post of President of Kannada Film Artistes’ Association (KFAA) on December 18 has withdrawn his resignation following requests. He had cited non co-operation of the leading actors in the Kannada film industry as the reason.

Actors Upendra, Darshan, Sudeep, Raghavendra Rajakumar and actresses like Pooja Gandhi, Sarojadevi, Andrita Ray, Tara, Sudharani, visited the actor at his house earlier to convince him.

A relieved Ambarish later said they will all be united and work to build the artistes’ association as the legendary Dr. Rajakumar envisaged. He also warned the fraternity that this would be the last time he tries to bring unity among the actors.
