Just like their earlier associations, Bazmee has created a new characterisation for Akshay yet again in 'Thank You'. While in 'Welcome', he had played a 'seedha saadha' character, 'Singh Is Kinng' featured him as a villager from Punjab who donned the hat of a 'King' to get his family members back on track.

"In 'Thank You' too, Akshay's character is out and out massy," assures Bazmee who has made a career out of making 'masala' entertainers, "I personally feel that a film should work from Chandigarh to China, it should run all over the globe rather than catering to a restricted set of so called niche audience."

With Akshay, Anees Bazmee is confident of scoring a hat trick of successes, now that 'Thank You' is less than a fortnight away.

"I have done some of my best work with him and same holds good for him as well. Inshallah, we should be enjoying success all over again. Everyone associated with 'Thank You' is very confident of the product in hand," smiles Bazmee.

Also starring Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitly and Rimi Sen as the leading ladies with Mallika Sherawat in an item number (Razia) and Vidya Balan in a cameo, 'Thank You' has music by Pritam and is a co-production of Ronnie Screwvala and Twinkle Khanna. A solo release, the film arrives all over on 8th April.
