With 'Ragini MMS-2' over-performing in its first weekend, one could never be too sure if the film would see high numbers coming in during the weekdays too. They were expected to be stable but on the lower side, courtesy 24 crore worth of audience having already watched the film over the weekend. With audience for this genre being restricted, anything and everything from this point on would have been a bonus.

However, the way this Ekta Kapoor production behaved during the weekdays was just amazing, what with less than 50% fall coming in and over 15 crore more added to the weekend collections. As a result, the film now stands at 40 crore in just a single week, which is just superb. In fact as things stand today, the film is fourth highest grosser of the year after biggies like 'Jai Ho', 'Gunday' and much acclaimed 'Queen'. While the Sunny Leone starrer is all set to cross the 50 crore mark now, what makes this Bhushan Patel directed film special is the fact that this is yet another 'A' rated film from Balaji to do so well.

Other releases of the week, 'Gang of Ghosts', 'Lakshmi' and 'Aankhon Dekhi', didn't have much to cheer about though. While 'Ragini MMS-2' was scoring in multiplexes as well as single screens, it was 'Queen' wave riding high at multiplexes that kept all other competition aside.
