This year seems to be a season of court cases for the Shah Rukh Khan.

Another call of the law has come knocking at the doors of his home after a writer accused him and his production company of stealing his story to make 'Om Shanti Om'.

Now the Bombay High Court has issued a legal notice accusing SRK of carrying out illegal construction in the backyard of his bungalow Mannat situated at Bandra.

The issue in question is a seven-storeyed building in the space behind the house.

The court came to know about the illegal construction due to a Public Interest Litigation filed by a social worker named Amit Maro.

A violation of the Costal Regulation Zone Notification (CRZ) of 1991 has been brought into the High Court's attention.

The Petition says that SRK has got his land classified under the modest CRZ-I, when actually lies under the restraining CRZ-II.

There is also the accusation that the newly constructed building goes against the statutory Heritage Regulations.

The regulations lay down instructions stating that the new building should be having the same height of the old building which actually existed in its place.

The court has asked the state government and the Brinanmumbai Municipal Corporation to give explanations on how the permissions for the construction were given.
