Umesh Chandra Shrivastava, the father of actress Neetu Chandra, met with his demise yesterday evening, in Mumbai.

Shrivastav was aged sixty and had been struggling with cancer for the last few years. Besides Neetu, Shrivastav is survived by two sons.

Neetu who is has been very close to her dad, was said to be devastated when he was admitted in the hospital.

The actress had recently returned from the shoot of a Tamil film in Australia.
