Everything was going right for UTV and Prakash Jha until this video was made public in front of the media at Raajneeti’s press conference. Praksah Jha proudly said that he has assembled the entire cast to sing the live National Anthem - Jana Gana Mana. The film will be opening with this National Anthem sung by the star cast instead of the National Anthem that is usually incorporated in the other movies.

At the press conference the ‘Raajneeti’ Jana Gana Mana was shown in which the entire cast of the film was singing the national anthem, all wearing white clothes. Where Ranbir has his hands folded behind and Katrina had her hand folded in front.

This has started creating eyebrows as there is a danger of people’s sentiments getting hurt as there will be obvious objections to the standing position of the actors who are public figures while they sing the national anthem.

Praksah Jha who is accompanying Ranbir and Katrina in their campus tour making it sure that his ‘innocent’ actors don’t make any blunder, should have corrected the position of the poster boy and girl of the country in the national anthem film if they are shockingly unaware. This film will be distributed in theatres freely as a tribute to the National Anthem and to arouse patriotic sentiments among cinema-goers.

Ironically, at the press conference Ranbir and Katrina were frank enough to admit that they knew very little about politics.

Some say that it’s a gimmick to draw attention when the movie gets released but the point is why all this seriousness when the maker himself keeps on saying that he did not want to give any message and he had made an engaging entertainer.

Politics of promotion…… Mr Jha…… Lets see whether it makes its own ‘Raj’ with this strange promotional ‘neeti’ (read tactics) at the B.O. or turns out to be an ‘Idiot’.
