Guess 'Love Sex aur Dhokha' wasn't quite an isolated case of Bollywood taking the voyeur route. If a line-up of films in coming months is any indication, the genre of sex is pretty much back into the vogue though with a sophisticated style and presentation.

An industry insider agrees, "There was a time when sex was out of circulation when it came to Bollywood flicks. However number of films, whether small or even medium budget, are actually having sex and voyeurism as the focal point of story telling. What is interesting to note is that these are not small time films by B grade producers. They actually come with an A grade backing and conveniently intersperse strong sex element in the story telling."

One such film maker who is leading the bunch is Ekta Kapoor who, after the success of 'Love Sex Aur Dhokha', is practically fascinated with this genre.

"Look at her line up of films", says a Bollywood observer, "Her next film is 'Raginni MMS' which, despite being a horror flick, has sex at the core of it as it tells the story of a girl whose nude MMS is shot by her boy friend. Of course you can expect titillation here. Then her 'The Dirty Picture' too is being unabashed in terms of it's overall setting with sex boasting of a strong presence."

He could well be right here. After all who would have ever imagined making a movie on the life of Silk Smitha, who was once the queen of soft porn cinema? With the film being given an A grade setup of Vidya Balan, Emraan Hashmi, Tusshar Kapoor and Naseerudin Shah with Milan Luthria as a director, Ekta is smartly packaging it as a film which would appeal to the masses as well as classes.

"You can clearly see a trend in motion here", continues the observer, "While Bhatts have nurtured this formula with voyeuristic pleasures doing the trick in their films, their 'Murder 2' with its apparent set up around the business of porn is anyways expected to further redefine voyeurism. As for Aamir Khan's 'Delhi Belly', if the film indeed turns out to be Bollywood's own 'American Pie' then well, there is a genre waiting to be explored in a big way in years to come. After all when Aamir Khan gets something going, the world follows."

And so does a voyeur who is getting his fair dose of 'love' and 'sex' without being required to resort to B grade cinema.
