Sanjay Suri and Onir's ‘I Am’ opened the London Asian Film Festival to a packed house on 18th March '2011 at the British Film Institute.

Onir is glad that his new work ‘I Am’ has been well received by international audiences, says the filmmaker, "I am overwhelmed with the response to the film in Sydney and Melbourne and looking forward to the screenings at Adelaide and Auckland”.

Actor-Producer Sanjay Suri with Radhika Apte were present at the opening. ‘I Am’ also closed The SYDNEY IFF. Director Onir and star Juhi Chawla interacted with the engrossed audience at the FOX Theater in Sydney.

The film has been hailed as New Age Indian cinema and is up for release in Australia and New Zealand on the 22nd of April. Festival Director, Mitu Bhowmik is awestruck at the buzz the film has created not only among the Indians there but also the locals.

This was Juhi's first interaction with an audience at a film festival and she has every reason to smile with the kind of feedback and applause the film is receiving.
