If one thought that the genre of sex comedy was passé then hang on because there is more to come. Leaving aside the disastrous fate of Z grade flick 'Happy Husbands', there is an A grade production from the house of Yash Raj Films, 'Luv Ka The End', which would be releasing soon. The film is about an all-girls gang that takes a Romeo heads-on after their leader Shraddha Kapoor is betrayed in love.

"This new trend is pretty much on lines with Hollywood teen/adult comedies," reflects a prominent producer, "Such films have been in vogue out there in the West but the genre is yet to develop in Bollywood. Here time and again such films tend to cross the borderline of vulgarity. Thankfully with makers like Yash Raj jumping into the fray, there is a sense of quality that one can expect."

The appreciation seems to have reached the ears of the production house as well as they have another film belonging to similar genre, 'Ladies v/s Ricky Behl', which would hit the screens at end of year. This time around, there are as many as four young women (Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Dipannita Sharma, Aditi Sharma) who get into a revenge mode as they take on a hapless Ranveer Singh.

This is not all as there is also a small film called 'Pyaar Ka Punchnaama' which is seemingly following similar lines. A tale about a three young men who are frustrated with their women that results in quite a few 'naughty situations' that have sex as a strong undertone, 'Pyaar Ka Punchnaama' too is looking like a solid entertainer in the offering.

Guess the genre has returned and that too with a bang!
