One expected low opening for 'Teen Thay Bhai' but certainly not as low as what it eventually turned out to be. It was stated in this column last week that 'Teen Thay Bhai' didn't have any chance of seeing anything better than 30% opening. Well, as things stand today, the makers would be willing to settle down for anything around that if all around poor reviews and bad worth of mouth is any indication. With multiplexes failing to touch even 10% mark way till Friday evening, the picture was clear for this Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra production at the very onset.

A sure shot box office failure despite it's low production costs, 'Teen Thay Bhai' has not just seen some of the worst reviews of the year but also scores low in audience appreciation. Rejected by one and all with no one quite caring much about it, 'Teen Thay Bhai' couldn't even touch the 3 crores mark over the weekend, hence making it crystal clear that the film would disappear from theaters sooner than later.

Now that's a pity for the film since it had not just arrived solo but was also backed by multiplex chain PVR. Now if only it was good, 'Teen Thay Bhai' could have benefited from zero competition and recovered its moolah. However as things stand today, this Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade and Deepak Dobriyal film has turned out to be an absolute non-starter and would disappear within a week's time.
