As per the news doing the rounds that Vivek Agnihotri's next film 'Buddha in a Traffic Jam' has a character which is based on that of writer-social activist Arundhati Roy, it has come to be known that the character is being played by none other than the talented Mahie Gill.

Mahie actually underwent a complete make-over with her looks to fit Arundhati's character and look to the 'T', where she even chopped off her long tresses. Mahie's clothes also were designed, keeping well in mind how Arundhati dresses up in real life, and the costume designer - Vishakha Kullarwar, got together a trunk full of ethnic jewellery, cotton and khadi printed sarees, etc.

By looking at Mahie in the film, no one can raise their eyebrows and say that she looks out of character.
