Imran Khan is disturbed and he has called the Maharashtra state government officials as idiots. The B-town heartthrob plans to file a Public Interest Litigation against the new regulation.

Imran believes that more than 60% of the population is below 25 and has been quoted as saying, “I feel everyone has the right to choose and that is the reason why I have decided to take this step. I don't think it should be imposed upon the youth. This kind of regulation is bound to turn the youth into outlaws.'

However the actor clarified that he is not encouraging or endorsing drinking habits amongst youth and feels its unfair to expect that one has to wait till one is 25 to exercise the freedom of choice regarding one's lifestyle.
