Well the remake market on Bollywood is on all time high. The latest to enter the scene is the Basu Chatterjee’s 1975 classic ‘Choti Si Baat’ starring Ashok Kumar and Amol Palekar.

It’s heard that David Dhawan has been roped in to make the remake for B.R. Films. And if everything goes right then the suave Anil Kapoor will give love lessons to Ali Zafar in the remake..

Choti Si Baat has a history of followers… the 1975 film was based on "School for Scoundrels", a 1960 British Comedy which itself inspired from the "Gamesmanship" series of books by Stephen Potter.

And that’s not all Will Smith’s ‘Hitch’ was loosely inspired by the concept of a shy introvert who takes help of a love expert to win over his lady love. which resulted in ‘Partner’ starring Salman and Govinda which was again directed by David Dhawan..

Let’s see how this shapes up and how much justice Anil Kapoor does to the role of Ashok Kumar and how the Pakistani heartthrob Ali Zafar fits in the shoes of Amol Palekar.

We believe Ali must have got some inputs from David Dhawan as he also playing Farooq Shaikh’s character in the remake of ‘Chasme Buddoor’ to be helmed by David Dhawan.
