'Dabangg 2' is all set for release and producer-director Arbaaz Khan agrees that in the process of making this sequel to a highly popular 'Dabangg', he made sure that the film didn't end up losing soul.

Also, he took a conscious call to ensure that that the film delivers the kind of entertainment that not just fills audience's hearts with the escapades of Chulbul Pandey but also gave them enough reasons to come back to theatres.

"Obviously it all begins with a story and further to that as a storyteller I could play around with the format", says Arbaaz, "To think of it, when it all started off, 'Chulbul Pandey' was a gamble.

Salman and I had a belief that this character would work but then when the idea starts taking shape, it is just a thought process. Some of the things work and some don't.

Yes, by and large you know that you are stepping into a safe zone but then at times you push the envelope as well while believing that it is going to work."

With the film just hours away from release, it would be there to see that how much does 'Dabangg 2' ends up scoring at the box office.
