‘Luck’ famed actress Shruti Haasan who will next be seen in ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ recently met with an accident on the sets of the movie.

Shruti who was in deep conversation with director Prabhudheva over some crucial scenes of the film, slipped and fell into the adjacent swimming pool. If sources are to be believed, the actress had to be rushed to the nearest hospital since she was badly hurt.

Said a source, "Shruti was discussing a few scenes with Prabhudheva when she happened to slip and fall into the pool, hitting her legs hard against the concrete in the bargain. She had to be rushed to the hospital immediately and has been advised a few days of bed rest before she resumes shooting."

Tips’ ‘Ramaiya Vastavaiya’ has Shruti alongside Girish Kumar, (son of producer Kumar S. Taurani) who making is screen debut with this film.

The romantic entertainer is scheduled to release 19th July,2013.
