Yesterday the press meet of Prakash Jha’s political thriller ‘Satyagraha’ was held in Mumbai to launch the film’s trailer. Present on the occasion was the director along with UTV head Siddharth Roy Kapur, Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai and Amrita Rao.

Meanwhile the remaining lead cast - Kareena Kapoor and Ajay Devgn were in London who released the trailer simultaneously from there via teleconference.

Before the launch, Jha had stated in an interview that they are aiming to make this event "a truly global affair".

‘Satyagraha’ is said to reflect the sentiment of the youths of the country, who are determined to make a difference by fighting against corruption and injustice.

‘Satyagraha’ will hit the screens on August 23.
