Prime Minister Modi during his Independence Day speech talked about various issues and developments that the country has seen over the year. The speech was studded with his usual energy even as BJP will be eyeing to redo the magic of 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

Agriculture: The Prime Minister promised to double the farming income by 2022, the wake of new developments in technology will be continued to be adapted to add advantage to the average farmer.

Women Empowerment & Rapes: Trying to enforce Triple Talaq will was the biggest move in terms of bringing women empowerment, Modi continued to emphasize that any practice that demeans womanhood will be curbed in the coming years. The fast track court has started awarding punishments to rape offenders within 5 days of the incident.

Space mission: Prime Minister Modi said that by the 75th year of Independence Day, India will be ready to send a person to space with a national flag on hand which will improve India’s space expeditions.

Swach Bharat, Economy and others: The Prime minister praised everyone in contributing to the country’s economy which has come a long way from that of 2014. Several schemes were introduced for the poor and needy which has elevated the country’s stand against poverty and more.
