Duniya Vijay has apologized on behalf of his Davanagere fans. On the release day – October 2, 2014 at Pushpanjali theatre in Davanagere the fans of Duniya Vijay did heinous crime by sacrificing chickens and pouring the blood on the cut out of Duniya Vijay put up outside the theatre.

It was an open show of a dozen hens sacrifice sacrificing dozens of chicken in front of the cut out at Pushpanjali theatre in Davangere which is showing his newly released Simhadri`.

The fans of Vijay did not know that it Ahimsa Day` as October 2 is observed as Gandhi Jayanthi. When the police arrived on the scene the fans that performed the sacrifice on cut out ran away.

Duniya Vijay stated that performing Rakthabhisekha` is wrong to his fans. He apologized for such happening that too on Gandhi Jayanthi day. Duniya Vijay made humble request for his fans not to take up such measures in future.
