The 45th birthday of superstar Shivarajkumar is on a very low key this year. The obvious reason is the demise of icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar his father on April 12 this year. The demise of Dr.Rajkumar is three months on this July 12, the birthday of Shivarajkumar. In the morning Shivarajkumar attended the Samadhi of his father with wife Geetha at Kanteerava studio and offered prayers and garlanded the Samadhi.

There have been a few announcements by producers on Shivarajkumar birthday. Producer R.S.Gowda has announced two films 'Gandana Mane' and 'Thumbida Samsara' both for the direction of S.Mahender. Satya In love – Power of Heart heat is by Raghavaloki and 'Bandhu Balaga' by producers D.Kamalakar and M.B.Babu will be directed by Om Saiprakash.

The film that has created big hype Gandugali Kumara Rama is all set for release in the first week of August.
