Swathi who had a glorious beginning from mega hit Kannada film 'Yajamana' (starring Dr.Vishnuvardhana in double role, Prema, Shashikumar and others) has changed her name to 'Suswathi' after seven years and 25 plus films of her career in films in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages. There are too many Swathis and that is the reason to change my name she replies. She has finished her fifth Kannada film 'Thangiya Mane' and hopeful of attracting the family audience. The songs of the film 'Thangiya Mane' is fabulous she says. I had very good cooperation from artistes such as Sunder Raj, Bhavya, Anand and Dharma who plays my brother in the film says Suswathi. I have cried in 'Thangiya Mane' without glycerin she says laughingly.

She is now opposite Ramana in 'Vedakoli' as an inspector. I did not know a single word of Tamil when I got my first offer. Today I am very fluent in Tamil informs Suswathi.

Reacting to her aspirations she said acting in director T.S.Nagabharana's film and opposite Prem of 'Nenapirali' is her dreams as of now. Getting Film Fare is also in her agenda.

I like Bangalore because I get to eat the mouth watering 'Masala Dosai' here which I don't get anywhere says talkative and intelligent Suswathi.
