Shubra Aiyappa – Looking for clean image

The debutant Shubra Aiyappa – 5feet 10 inches tall actress opposite challenging star Darshan is setting tall order before her in films. The focus of Shubra is maintaining clean image and bringing good name to her father Mr U.M.Aiyappa who is a manager in Vijaya Bank and mother Chitra Aiyappa. After Daisy Boppanna here is another tall and beautiful looking heroine from Coorg.

"I am very conservative. No vulgarity and I am particular about my clothes", clarified Shubra in a chat with this correspondent at Rejoyz Digital Auditorium in Bangalore on last Thursday.

Studying in II year Bachelor of Arts, Shubra Aiyappa is a model. She has signed the contract for three years with Matrix Agency in Mumbai and traveled widely in her assignment. One of the important assignment she took part is for ford international (Bipasha Basu had worked earlier). At the age of 18 she went to USA. She has already completed one year of the contract and now appears for a Kannada film. Mr Anbu Ishwar has introduced her to this film unit. She has appeared in PC Chandra's Jewelry ad too.

"My first priority is education. I want to enjoy every moment of my life" says Shubra who did schooling in Baldwins. She is a singer cum dancer in her school days. She studied for a short while in Mount Carmel College and then shifted to Jyothinivas College Bangalore.

In 'Indhra' opposite Darshan she is playing a traditional Brahmin girl. For the first time she is wearing 'Landa and Dhavani' (costume of Brahmin girls in the village). The role what Shubra is doing is something different to her nature and attitude.
