For disobeying the Central Sandhana Samithi order and giving lame excuse of ill health to avoid the dubbing of his portions for the film 'Chanda' produced and directed by S.Narayan – the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce has taken a decision to ban Vijay from taking any film assignment for one year.

This decision was taken by the Apex body KFCC in consultation with the major bodies like directors, producers, artistes and cinema workers association.

To revoke the order of KFCC actor Vijay has to dub for the film 'Chanda' immediately and give an apology letter for director cum producer S.Narayan for inconvenience caused.

All these problems cropped up because of delay in completion of Vijay's another film 'Yuga'. In a systematic way director cum producer S.Narayan announced the date of his release 'Chanda' as November 15 on the muhurut day - June 22.

Orally Narayan agreed to release the film 'Chanda' starring Vijay after 50 days of screening of 'Yuga'. But the inordinate delay in making of 'Yuga' has become the major botheration.

It is at this time Vijay intervened to save the new producer of 'Yuga' Mr Anand. This has irked director cum producer S.Narayan of 'Chanda'.

Vijay abstained from dubbing for 'Chanda' and the inconvenient atmosphere reached a boiling point for him. The Central Sandhana Samithi and KFCC had to intervene on this matter.
