Hey people, cheer-up and get ready for Friday, the coolest day of the week! This week-end we will have only two new entries, one is ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ and the other is ‘Madurai Sambhavam’. As of now we have ‘Kanthasawmy’, ‘Bommayee’ and ‘Quick Gun Murugan’ doing good business among the existing contestants.

Vikram-Shriya starrer ‘Kandhasamy', which hit screens on August 21st, created a record in Tamil cinema in its business. Same way the reception for ‘Quick Gun Murugan’ that released on August 28th is very positive. This one with Rajendra Prasad as Quick Gun Murugan is a funny ride on the whole. When it comes to the horror ‘Bommayee’- it is a dubbed version from Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Phoonk’, featuring Sudeep and Amrutha Khanvilkar in the lead. This is the movie signifying the battle between supernatural powers and black-magic.

The above films are successful as of now; as a result the new releases of the week ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ and ‘Madurai Sambhavam’ ought to prove its stuff to sustain the existing competition.

‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ directed by Kumaravel has Prithviraj, Priyamani, Karthik Kumar and Sakthi in the lead role. This racy clean youth entertainer is a remake of Malayalam blockbuster ‘Classmates’ (which also starred Prithviraj), is based on a campus story. The film will hit the theaters on September 4th and must get a good opening, as there is no big opponent with such star value. Moreover as Sun Pictures has acquired the releasing rights of ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’, media-hype will boost the hit rate.

Choreographer-turned-actor Harikumar’s ‘Madurai Sambhavam’ will also release on Friday (Sep 4th).The film is directed by Lyricist Yurekha and is based on real life incidents. This one which has earned an ‘A’ certificate has Karthika and Anuya starring opposite Harikumar. ‘Madurai Sambhavam’ is NDTV Imagine Film Company’s first venture in Tamil in association with Wide Angle Creations. The film has all necessary commercial ingredients, which is targeted at B & C centers.

Let's wait to see who wins the race.
