Ashok Kheney of NICE Company is having nice time on Kannada silver screen. He is respected for his flamboyant style in handling issues. After one Hindi film ‘Prem Ka Game’ (Ashok Kheney is the director too besides producer) and releasing the nine Kannada songs sung by Sonu Nigam ‘Neene Neene’ (for Jayanth Kaikini lyrics Mano Murthy scored the music) Ashok Kheney has announced three films one each in Kannada, Hindi and Tamil.

Recently he watched the ‘Super’ Kannada cinema with super star Rajanikanth in Renukamba digital theatre and appreciated the work of Upendra. According to sources Ashok Kheney has evinced an interest in Rajanikanth starring film.

Meanwhile Ashok Kheney has played the role of Home Minister in ‘Kempe Gowda’ of Kichcha Sudeep. I have done the role what Karnataka Transport Minister Ashok was supposed to play. On his rejection the role came to me but Transport minister also became Home Minister in his life explained Ashok Kheney.

At the ‘Kempe Gowda’ audio release Ashok Kheney announced the bronze statue of founder of Bengaluru Kempe Gowda at Magadi taluk. He invited reel ‘Kempe Gowda’ Sudeep to unveil the statue.
